Waves in sea and the stadium

The Soccer World Cup 2010 takes place in Southafrica and we are seeing waves everywhere. Not only in the stadiums, caused by enthousiastic fans but also in the sea.

But what is the difference between waves or packages of waves and what makes a wave into a dangerous tsunami? Univ. Lect. Mag. Werner Gruber explains it.

Right afterwards Univ. Prof. Dr. Heinz Oberhummer tells us how so called freak-waves or monster-waves arise, whoes existance was said to be a cock-and-bull story for many years.
