Introduction

Your aim is to direct the Innovatico-ball over a construction which has to be built, and into the end-zone. To achieve this you have a range of construction elements available, which you can combine in any way you like. But bear in mind there are two more factors which influence your progress to each further level – “time” and “money”.

Start

The game is controlled entirely using the mouse. The main menu offers the following items for selection:

  • New game:
A new career mode is started. Here you have to play through all the levels in order to enter a high score in the best scores list.
  • Continue game:
If a career game has already been started, this option allows you to start directly at the last-played level.
  • Instructions:
This item takes you to the help page.

How to play

After starting the game via the “New game” option, you can already see the challenge displayed for you. In each level there are specified construction elements that cannot be altered. But in each level of career mode, you have all the available elements to select from. With the aid of the movable toolbox, you can select the elements and drag these onto the blueprint using a mouse-click. To do this, select a construction element, keep the mouse button pressed and release it again once you have moved the mouse cursor into the desired position.

If you want to change an element which has already been placed in position, double-click on that element. This will then give you a number of possible actions (rotate, fix or delete).

If you want to move the toolbox, drag this into the desired new position using the mouse cursor by clicking on the title bar and then releasing the button once it has been dragged into position.

Elements

To build your solutions, the following tools and elements are available:

  • Circle:
Exists in three set sizes and is subject to gravity.
  • Immovable circle:
Similar to the “free circle” - again in a choice of three sizes. The difference is that the immovable circle is fixed in position on the blueprint and is therefore unaffected by gravity.
  • Free box:
Like the free circle, the free boxes come in three sizes. However, these are not fixed and are therefore subject to gravity.
  • Fixed box:
Also available in three sizes, they are anchored firmly with the background and therefore cannot fall.
  • Rubber box:
The rubber box has a special property - elasticity. Objects hitting the rubber box are bounced back with greater force.
  • Motor:
Two motors are available. The difference is in the direction in which the motor turns. Motors can be used to connect with or to move other elements.
  • Bumper:
Similar to a bumper on a pinball machine, the bumper bounces “One” off again immediately it is hit, based on the angle of impact.
  • Nails:
Nails are a key component in devising solutions. They are used to connect elements with one another or with the blueprint. To connect two elements together, simply place them one on top of the other and apply a nail so that it connects the two elements. To fix an element to the blueprint, simply hammer the nail into the element and make sure that no other element is sitting in front of or behind it.

Costs

Of course, each element that you use costs money. You start with $ 0. For each completed level, the total money used is added together.
The aim is to use as little money as possible for all levels and to keep the ball moving for as long as possible before it falls into the hole. You can see the costs of the elements by moving the mouse over the respective element.
