The authors of innovative scientific works were recognized in three categories, with a particular emphasis on those who gave serious consideration to the potential commercialisation of their research results. The jury for the INiTS Award 2009 evaluated the submissions on their technical merits and consisted of experts in business, science and the founding of companies.
Kapsch was the sponsor of the 1st prize in the category “Other Technical Fields”, contributing in this way to the success of the evening at the Microsoft Innovation Center.
In addition to prize money totalling €13,500, the lucky winners also received brand new Windows 7 packages.
